Keynotes
“An all singing, all dancing, kick up the bum.”
My keynotes are energising, belly laugh funny and usably practical. I teach individuals and teams the very real skills of power, presence and influence, because being good is no longer enough.

Being unforgettable is a skill.
Some people can walk into a room, explain an idea and change what happens next. They get heard. They get remembered. They get people on board. They make other people care.
That isn’t magic. It isn’t charisma. And it isn’t something you either have or you don’t. It’s influence. And it can be learned.
Kirsty Hulse delivers high-energy, research-backed keynotes on the human skills that make people more influential, more compelling and much harder to forget.

“Kirsty is easy to work with, understands the messages you’re wanting to deliver and lands them in a way that nobody else can. Kirsty is real, energising, funny, human, and audiences, at all levels, respond well to her. Kirsty is a joy to work with and a leader in what she does.”

The keynotes
What I speak about
Every keynote is written for your audience. These are the themes I speak on most.
Strategic Influence
Great ideas don't speak for themselves, people do. This is the science of moving people: trust, authority and making ideas easy to say yes to.
Ideal for leadership events, all-hands and any room where good ideas keep dying in meetings.
People learn how to build trust, navigate resistance and get a yes without becoming the loudest voice in the room.
Confidence
Confidence isn't a feeling, it's learning to act while uncertainty is still present.
Ideal for early-careers programmes, women's networks and teams who sit on good ideas.
People learn practical ways to speak up, take up space and stop waiting to feel ready.
Communication & Presentations
Most presentations are fine. That's the problem. This is how to be understood, cared about and remembered.
Ideal for sales teams, client-facing teams and anyone whose slides do the talking for them.
People learn clearer ideas, better stories and delivery with less corporate wallpaper.

Oh, I also used to be a stand-up comedian…
I spent years on the stand-up circuit, from Saturday night comedy clubs in Wigan to running a show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This means my keynotes are actually funny, and I can take complex, practical, corporate-leaning topics and turn them into something genuinely engaging and uplifting that people will rave about for months (maybe even years).

What you get when you book Kirsty

An audience that participates
I speak with people, not at them. Even very large rooms feel conversational, interactive and alive, and audiences leave having actually taken part rather than politely watched.

A steady pair of hands
Experienced, on time, easy to work with. As an event organiser, your keynote speaker should be the one thing you do not have to stress about. I arrive prepared, I understand timings and I work with your production team.

A keynote with substance
The energy is high. The thinking underneath it is serious. My work draws on psychology, behavioural science, communication research and years spent studying how people actually influence each other.
